This?lovely?cluster ring is a vintage piece from the 1950s, made to look Victorian! The ring has a gorgeous moonstone cabochon center, which is prong set within a 14k gold mounting. The?polished moonstone is?very clear, with a pale blue color and alluring iridescent flash. Surrounding the moonstone is a sapphire cabochon halo, adding a wonderful deep blue color! All?fourteen of the stones within the border are individually prong set, creating a flower-like design with sapphire "petals." Completing the the mounting is a smooth gold band with royal blue enamel accents at the shoulders and foliate engraving around the gallery. A "14K" stamp can be found inside the shank. When worn, the ring makes a fabulous everyday accessory!
Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 7?1/2, but could easily be resized if desired. The moonstone and sapphire centerpiece measures approximately 7/8" wide and long, and rests about 5/8" above the finger when worn. The?gold band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition:?The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The moonstone and sapphires are all intact and securely set.
